Lighting, Rendering, Color Grading
It took a bit longer than I had anticipated but I have completed a full pass of shot blocking for this animated short. Still quite a bit left to do but this is a nice milestone to reach. I am still learning how to balance the use of multiple cameras while using each camera for multiple shots in Unreal Engine 5 Sequencer. I think I am using too many cameras so, I’d like to get better at managing my workspace more efficiently.
I have taken an initial pass at some of the character animations but have a way to go to get to character animation complete. The animation is what I hope to finish over the next few days. I do have all of my dialogue recorded using Audacity so…one less thing, right.
The screenshot below is from UE5, no color correction. I will need to do another pass to fine tune the lighting but want to get all the animation in place before coming back to the environment lighting and landscape.
