A View of the Setting

This is a good view of scene elements to be used in my animation. I’m using as many Quixel Megascans as possible. The stone wall, the wood bridge and the landscape materials are all from Megascans. These assets are such high quality. Epic Games has continually added top shelf resources to the Unreal Engine platform over the years and made them freely available to the community. I personally appreciate Epic Games business approach to growing and sustaining the Unreal Engine ecosystem. It really feels like everyone wins.

Lastly, I was able to leverage a water material from the Cherry Tree – Sakura environment pack added to Plane Static Mesh.

The landscape is still looking pretty sparse. I am getting pretty close to taking another pass to fill in the areas that will show on camera.
